The Engineer
Starting college at 16, in just five years, Erik has built a resume that includes working on post sound production projects as well as becoming the best live sound mixing engineer and recorded sound engineer for Jillaine's performances. He does all the recording and mixes and masters her CDs. He runs the mobile studio for Jillaine Records. He single-handedly does the stage layouts for the microphones and monitors for Jillaine's large combos in performances. Having recorded Jillaine for many years, his acutely attuned ear helps him manage her powerful vocals.
He has worked on the sound of three Brigham Young University animation shorts: "Pajama Gladiator," "Kites," and "X-ing," which have won various Student Emmys and Student Academy Awards. He has gained the reputation for creative Foley and sound FX.
Erik also does live mix to broadcast for national sporting events. Jillaine often tells him that his finely attuned ears are “saving the world from bad sound!”
